| agios georgios
(st. george) beach |
Saint George is perhaps the island's busiest beach with
many taverns and bar-cafés many of which are on the sand.
During the day it is visited by thousands of tourists while in the
evening it is ideal for a quiet dinner on the beach.

Its main characteristic is the shallow water which makes
it ideal for families with young children. Umbrellas and sunbeds
cover the biggest part of the beach, leaving little empty space.
There are many accommodation units in the area as well as a sport
club towards its end.
