It is hard to put all the beauty and lovely people that we met into words but we will try. As a retirement gift, in February of 1999, my wife surprised me with a trip to Greece.
Since my Father was born in the village of Agios Arsenios on the island of Naxos, it had been my life long dream to visit his birth place. Four hours prior to boarding the plane, I went into the Internet and was fortunate to contact Gina who was putting together this web site. Through her diligent effort to assist me in finding my relatives, we found 23 that I never knew I had.
The beauty and tranquility of the Island only added to our delight of being there. Walking along the port, watching the sun set, seeing the octopus hanging out drying (As Gina depicts in one of her photo's), talking with the locals and eating their fine cuisine, I can only say, if you have not been to Naxos your missing an experience of a life time. Gina, my wife and I want to extend our heart felt gratitude for making all this possible and one day we will return.
